The cabin Vista Hermosa is located in the sector of the Cachiwañuska sector, 35 minutes from Puerto Misahualli by canoe or land transport.
The construction of the cabin is made with material gathered from the jungle in a reasonable and sustainable manner, with a simple style influenced by traditional and urban architecture.
The cabins´ facilities and services: It is in a unique place in the Amazon ideal for you and your family. It has permanent electricity services, hot showers and shared bathrooms. There are beautiful panoramic views of the Napo River. There´s a private beach, a botanical garden in an area of 2 hectares, birding trails and fishing. There´s space for campfires at night, private parking and signal for Movistar and Claro phones.
The cabin has the capacity for 32 guests.
The accommodation is in comfortable 2-man tents with mattresses, sheets, blankets and pillows.

There is overnight camping for anyone who wants to get in touch with nature, an ethnobotanical garden in the middle of the jungle and indigenous communitie. It is located in the upper reaches of the Amazon rainforest, along the imposing Napo River, a tributary of the Amazon. Different species of birds can be seen in the vicinity of the cabin lodge and a large number of plant and tree species have been recorded in the beautiful protected area of the botanical garden.

It is an initiative of ecotourism in conjunction with indigenous Kichwa communities, created in 2013. It opened a pathway of employment and opportunities through eco-tourism. The initial objective of the Vista Hermosa Lodge was to create a family-run cabin lodge for tourists. It also generates jobs for local people in the communities of the area in a wide range of activities such as maintenance, food preparation, guiding, maintaining the botanical garden and other activities.
Today, they regularly receive direct economic benefits and employment and administration from this eco-tourism project. They also receive indirect benefits from the sale of handicrafts made by them as a means of livelihood. Vista Hermosa Lodge allows people to benefit economically in many ways whilst being at one with nature. In addition to managing visits to their communities, for example, people work in sustainable agriculture, make crafts and sell farm products.
